i came home from work 2day n thought, wot is my goals in the short-term now. all i do is go t work n play footy, n as far as pokers concerned its been sucha big part of my life i cnt rly give it up. which is why i have decided t give the grind another go.
im gna play $6 10/20 seaters 2/3 at once and grind from my current BR of $91 to $250 by end of october. then in novermber im gna grind that to $500 hopefully and see what happens. thats my short term targets and i need t stay away from tilt and stik with the games i kno.

the last order?
i think this could well be my last ever post. iv managed t wittle my BR from $420 to around $140 in 1-2 months wen i ws intendint to get it from $280 to the 1k mark.
iv probably tilted off a gud portion of my losses but that was because i was getting fukt in every single game i played. it just seems like the poker gods shone on me 1 time n now r kicking me up the arse everytime i play, no matter if its live or online.
if my luck changes i may write again but till then im signing off.

i hate losing
now i remember y i dnt play poker as much, cs i feel like shit wenever i lose n get fukt. after my 1st beat i decided t record how i go out in the other tables t c if its my fault or the fukin programs.
i played 5 stt's n heres how it went, -$30. its like such a small amount compared t how much i won but it dus my tits in wen i get called with shit n they hit...every time
1st game, went out with KK vs 88
2nd game, out with A9 vs 55 on J93 flop he called my all in
3rd game out with 1010 vs 66
4th game, k3 in SB nly bb left n bigish blinds, i bet he calls, flop 234 i go all in 4 a fair lot more, he calls with AJ n hit A
5th game, QQ i bet pre 2 callers 248 flop chek chek i go all in 1 caller with KJ, turn brings K, then the hand after i lost ith A6 t A9 n final hand im out with J8 vs 10 4

back on the horse
ive just recently started to get back into poker. i was on holiday for a week and between my big win and the day i got back from holiday, i hadnt played any online stuff at all.
yesterday i sat down n was wondering what t do n decided t give poker a bash, i looked at the limits n for some reason just stuck to my lower limit games because its more relaxing and in fairness, just because i won a monster amount i dont want it to change my long term life and go much deeper into poker, so for now im sticking to the bread n butter.
i played a $11 stt, a $6 20 seater n 2 $6 20 seater. i came 1st in my $11 n made a net profit of $21.
today i came on and was so enthusiastic about poker, i just wanted to play. i played a $6 20 seater n a $6 stt, came 4th in 20 seater cs started gambling more, wud rather push 4 1st than try win 10/20 dollar. then came 2nd in stt.
i then had bit of break n played on my WII, then started 4 $6 stt at once. i played well in all and won sum coin tosses, with the end result 2x1st n 2x2nd which is pretty gud for a net profit of $56. not bad since i normally make that in 1 shift at work. pretty sure im finished for the day now, but am glad iv gotten back into it and am now setting my sites on grinding the $260 upto $1k playing mainly $6 stt and 20 seater, n the occasional $11. prob try n qualify for the 300k again on a few occasions in the $11 mtts n try win big again, prob wont happen tho in fairness.

livin it laaarge
so iv been spending like theres no tomorrow, im off on holiday on sunday nite on a cruise with my family and cousins family, bought a nintendo WII which is gr8 fun and splashed out on much needed clothes.
i cant believe how little desire i have to play online anymore, it just seems boring, or unnecessary grinding it out for afew bucks when i could do other stuff with my mates.
i think since my big win iv only played 4 games, all on the same day at the same time. played a $6 stt, $11 stt, $6 20 seater n $6 50 seater. came 1st in 20 seater for $40 with a net profit of $11, stil a 5er i gess.
off t jonesys 2nite t play tpt neway, c if i can knock the ginster off 6th n qualify myself for the final.
on anther note i withdrew $16100 from my account leaving myself with $260 to play and grind with. havent decided what tables im gna play, probably go bk t the $11 and keep the $6 20 seater now that i have a BR bigger than $45

facking MENTAL!!!!
so afew days ago i played a $11 tourny qualifier with 70 players in which top 3 qualified for the $215 $300k gtd on partypoker.
iv watched Jonesy and Brent play multis all the time and seen them cash good, n just once i wanted this experience. if it wasnt for them 2 id probably be asleep right now
i managed to qualify for the 300k gtd on wednesday and since then have been so excited for the tournament, not because i ever imagined i could do well, but bcause of the experience in playing in a £100 buyin.
the tournament started at 5.45 and i decided to move upto my room so i could concentrate with just my music on. 1440 entered with top prize of $60k available for the winner. i started ok winning sum small hands with people unable to lay down A high. i then tilted off half my stak, 1st trying to outpot a guy on a FD, in which he still called n hit, then the very next hand trying to take sum1 off top pair with my AQ.
i calmed down and doubled up shortly after with AJ suited on a Q10x flop 4 diamond total. i hit my diamond and was back to the starting stack.
to be honest from here to 250 left i dont remember much of it. i was on 15k with average about 26k when i hit JJ. i had planned to play ultra tight and fold verything because $390 for 200th was a massive increase to my BR of $42. i shipped all in anyway and was called by AQ, a 89J board doubled me to 30k, 2 hands later i hit AA and doubled up again through chip leader 88. by now i had double the average and played tight until there were 200 left, steeling blinds on button etc and was on about 65k when i reached the money.
i kept grinding n players fell quickly once every1 made the money. by brother had been watching me for an hour now and playing when i needed the toilet, probably every 30 mins cs i ws shitting the concept of a few hundred pounds.
i managed to wittle down to the last 20 with $1500 in the pocket. from here to the final table is again, a bit of a blur. players fell now n again until there were 13 left and i was faced with the concept of making the final table in the biggest tournament of my life.
big holla to all my mates who were watching and giving ultimate support. cal, brent, hes, ferg, dewar... my round for sure cheers boys
i managed to get to chip leader on my table with a 600k stack and blinds at 30/60k. i reached final table about 6th in chips and confident i could do well.
with 8 left and completely card dead i went all in fairly late with AQc, the SB reraised all in and i was thinkin this is it. BB pondered for a while and folded and the SB flips 99. i had won with 99 twice that night in coin tosses so was sure this was it for me. the flop came 983, 1 club and i was devestated, with my bro n mum behind me watching and a moan when the 9 came down. the turn brought another club and with my head in hands i was screaming CLUB 1 TIME!!!!
the river brings a fuckin club and im way back in it, would have been out with $4200 otherwise. (4.5% to win that hand after the flop)
eventaully we got down to 4 and with the blinds so big i had t start making a move. i was gna push with A8 after min bet by button but just called and he took down pot with 107 after hitting 10 on river vs me n bb, decent pot considering the blinds. the next hand he min bet again and i elected to push with A6. e flipped K9 and a J on turn game him the straight and sent me out.
i was absolutely extatic to take the $16,350 4th place which will pay for my gap yr n put sum cash in my pocket 4 clothes and uni. 7 hours of hard graft and 3 years of poker had paid off in 1 night....unbelievable
off out with family tonight to celebrate, ontop of the world right now.

my casino love and online hate
iv been to the casino twice since the last time i posted, played the £10 1 addon/rebuy and last night played the £10 freezeout
not alot happened for me in the £10 addon, lost 2 coin flips, 1 with 22 in bb vs A10, he hit AA on turn and river. 2nd hand which was for alot more chips i push with 66 BB calls with AK and the board came 37Q 7 Q meaning his A high with 2 pairs played. busted in mid pack. decided to hit the floor games and played some roulette with the usual 12 18 19 32 33 numbers. hardly hit anything and missed 2 spins while i went t get more money. the next 2 which i missed were 12 and 18-gutted. with 10er left i put £2 on 17 aswel as some other smaller bets on usual numbers and 17 came for £72 pound. then hit 2 flushes in 3 card poker playing blind the last hand so was dead even for the night.
last nite was a different story however. i had such a good time and my table i started on was full of character and rookie. 2 guys clearly had never played before, 3 had won it before, and the guy to my right was here from australia seeing his son play rugby, he was a rly nice guy.
dint hit many hands early on, and the first hand i hit was AK but after a powercut, they decided to redeal, sick.
30 minutes gone and a free drink later, the lights were back on and i won 3/4 hands. i felt good, and went into the break with 17k after starting with 10k.
the field of 55 slowly diminished and with about 28 left i hit AA and was paid off by the donk who called my bet with 34 and put me all in on 59K flop. a 2 on turn sets my heart racing but he misses and im back in there.
i got moved tables and won an all in in SB with 105 d vs 92 on 983 flop 2 diamonds, i bet he push i call n hit 10 on river. a few hands later i get AA again and beat 32d on 998 2 diamond flop. upto 65k.
going into final table i have about 48k and the table is pretty weak. i get card dead 4 a while though and blind down to 20k. i played well goin all in with A rag and low pp and got upto 250k and chip leader. won a sick hand vs my mate with 76 vs his Q6 on J66 flop, spiked 7 on river, sorry mate
anyway final hand of the night my other mate goes all in blind, SB calls and i have A10. i figure im prob gna cum 2nd either way if i call or if i fold, unless i win and decide to call. SB has KK and hits trips on flop. all over and i take £120 for my effort. a v.good night and prob the most enjoyable of my casino visits.
prob hit casino again sometime soon as im running so good live and so shite online. not playing online much anymore, cooling off and hoping the cards run my way again soon.
