Last nite was a laugh. i started on a good table with chiprich and took down 1st hand with a semi bluff on turn failing and managing to take him off it on river.
i stayed on just above the starting stack pretty much all game before the break and added on giving me 9.6k stack after the break.
shortly after our table got split and i joined kev cheung, jonny hes and chiprich on my new table. hardly and banter and probably worse players but still have a laugh. after 10 minutes the dealer got knokt out and chiprich basically forced me t deal which i didnt really mind that much. i lost a large amount of my stack to KK with my AK which i managed to get away from and from then on not much more happened. with blinds 1600/800 and a stack of 3k i needed something to happen. in the bb after 3 limpers and a hefty raise i gave my cards a tap and flipped them up. "i guess il have to go all in". thanks to the raiser every1 else folded and he flipped 99. upto 11k.
the tables got split and shortly it was down to 2 tables, with jonny hes and sophie. i managed to win an all in bet on the button with J9 vs KQ and got to 26k.
i made a few steels but i fell when my 66 push all in with 6 pple was called by this tosser in BB who had AA n gave it "hmmm shud i call" after like 2 minutes he called and i was out in 12th

So id say a very enjoyable time and cant wait for the next one. thanks to my 10% deal with jon hes who finished 3rd for a v respectable £185 i took £20 from the tourny and ended up £15 down for the night.

wots been happening

so i guess i havent had a bad couple of days poker wise, replenishing the majority of my losses the other week, although this could change slightly if i lose both the stt im in now.... doubtful

aswell as playing poker, iv been playing abit of partygammon and partycasino slots. lets face it the slots r rubbish the majority of time, but its abit of fun and diversifying from poker to slots now and again is relaxing and summit to do. i got from $6 to $28 on it last nite after some amazing luck but then blew $15 of this while lieing in bed after playing abit of poker.

i have decided to get tough on myself again and stay away from these shitty games. no more. theyre alrite if ur bored but u can never beat the bandit (monkeys) so it seems pointless. il still play abit of gamme because that involves skill but partycasino is gone for good, hopefully.

im unsure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, id say good for me, but nowadays i just dont have the lust to play poker every hour of every day, and with my exams in full motion this is definately a plus.

im off to the casino tomorrow nite for £10 double chance which im really looking forward to. i havnt played in a while and my game has definately improved from the tight-as-a-virgin type player i used to be live. i had a warm up with my mates (fish) and somehow managed to place, only got my money back but with people calling reraises with 83 and even an all in for all his massive stack with 56 suited!!! i was happy. also joining us will be the great leknave and horneris aswel as other members of the TPT. hopefully itl b a gud night, il report on thursday how it went.

ive been continueing with the $11 today, think i played 4 altogether aswell as a $10 step which is the 2nd round of 6, top prize taking home $2k so thats what im gna be working towards on the side of my $11 stt. in the step 2 i finished a dissapointing 5th. after losing with KQ vs 44 all in with big blinds i managed to fight my way back into the action but it just wasnt to be, id have been happy coming 3-4 and having another crack at it but instead i dropped down to step 1. at the same time however i was already in a step1 which i had free entry for from ages ago and managed to win that so ended up having 1 entry on step 1 and 1 entry to step 2-same as before, big of a waste of time.
iv ended up the day with a decent profit for my BR and its annoying to think i would normally have to work for 5 hours in the newsagents to the same result.
i got a txt from a friend tonight at 8.25 asking if i wanted to go for a jog so i booted up a $11 turbo (my favoured tourn) and accepted the invite. by 8.50 i had 15k out of the 20k on the table and dominating. i obviously took down the win and the $50 1st place prize, and in all this still managed to get a decent amount of school work done for my exam on friday.

or have i? iv decided that playing cash isnt working anymore and i just cant really beat it big time nemore. iv starteed playing STT again and more recently $11 rather than $6. iv been doing really well on them, even though iv been getting quite a few suck outs with the usual AK vs AQ on river. since my last blog its been all ups and downs, i got to $540 after making +$65 profit on the premiership, then went down to $440 after getting sum tough luck on cash. i moved to $11 STT and kept playing my $6 20 seaters and got it back to my current BR in 5 or 6 days.

im definately enjoying playing the $11 and think im ready to play these slightly higher limits than i usually would, probably because id load $10 each time onto cash tables so feel comfortable playing with this amount.

my exams officially start this week so im going to try working alot more and pokering a lot less, also my BR will be pretty much frozen for a while. wish me look in the upandcoming weeks

Ive basically been spending a fair bit of time playing multis and abit less time playing cash because iv had more time on my hands. iv been playing the $6 20 seater and 50 seater and doing really well. in my last 6 games iv had 1st x 2, 2nd x 2 and 2 bubbles. im playing really well and i think my game is suited for low player tournys as opposed to larger 300+ players.

i kno i intended to just grind it out on cash and keep moving up blinds but if i enjoy multis more and am making more money should i change my plan? i said i wanted to make $1000 in summer when i had loads of time but with what iv been making recently this could easily double.

aswell as this i won £50 on a scratchcard 2day which mde me well happy since i thought it was only £25 and didnt see the extra £25 bonus.

i checked out my partypoker sharkscope 2dy which only records the multis you do and my ROI was something like 130% which i think is wicked.
anyways loving poker at the minute so lets hope this continues

its growing....

so it seems appropriate to tell you how ive been running since its the beginning of the month.
this last half month has been the best yet really ive enjoyed winning and taken losing as it came which it inevitably does. iv started football betting again on my poker account, i was +24 profit last week and +32 profit this week which obviously has helped boost the BR.

But its not all been football. as far as poker goes iv moved up stakes and been doing fairly well. the 1 really fortunate bit of luck i got was beating KK all in pre with QQ, loved it. im playing $.1/.25 stakes now and the players are slightly better and more willing to lay hands down rather than chasing everything under the sun. iv figured that once theres a pot worth taking and i think a player is waiting on a draw, i bet big and take the pot that there is. speculate to accumilate i guess. im playing more poker than i was now aswell even tho its the exams coming up, so im hoping/praying im not becoming an addict just yet.

also on the poker front i got my Pokerstars hat and teddy through today which i ordered about 7 weeks ago. all credit to the site they emailed me saying it was late and again when they had reshipped it so cheers stars.

i guess i should give a final shout out to the TPT boys who travelled to luton or werever the hell it was. anyway the ginster took down the tourn in 1st and shipped £1600. maybe this could be me someday, but for now il stick to online and keep trying to reach my $1000 target.

il try post ever week or so now as opposed to every fortnight seen as how higher limits is definately gna bring greater wins/loses. cheers again for reading
